Born to Read!

More and more research shows that the first two years of life are very important to learning.  Babies are alert and learning from the time they are born. Your baby is not too young to be read to, or to sign up for the summer reading program.

Read on the Wild Side Baby & Me is a special program created for babies from birth to 23 months old. You will receive a booklet with activities to do with your baby.  These activities include Reading, Writing, Talking, Singing and Playing.  Each of these five activities help your child get ready to read.

You can register online, at the Rakow Branch or at the Main Library.   Complete the Baby & Me program by August 10th and your baby will receive a free board book.

Remember, they are never too little for reading!
