Tasty Tales: Vegetables are Very Delicious

It's Time for some yummy Tasty Tales!  Join Lolly and her friends each Monday and Tuesday as they cook up good stories this summer!  Each week we will add a new food to our "Today is Monday" activity song.  The first food on our list is string beans and we want to share with you some delicious vegetable themed rhymes and books.

Pumpkins on the Ground (sung to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star) (From our friends at King County Library System)
Pumpkin, pumpkin on the ground (bend down)
How'd you get so big and round? (stretch arms and then make a circle)
Once you were a seed so small, (pretend to hold a seed)
Now you are a great big ball! (make big circle with hands)
Pumpkin, pumpkin on the ground (bend down)
How'd you get so big and round? (stretch arms and then make a circle)
