We are having fun with
numbers this fall in Story Mix from Three to Six! This weeks we focused on the
number two.
An action Rhyme we did:
Two little flowers, two
little bees
Two little bluebirds,
high in two trees
Two little brown bears
smiling at me
Two is the number I
like, you see!
Children this age can start to help with
chores. Setting the table is a chore
that is age appropriate and helps them learn about numbers. Ask them to take
out four forks and place them next to the plates. Have them help you carry 4 glasses to the table.
Everyday life gives you many opportunities to talk to your child about numbers!
